fire the one who decided this reboot was a good idea.
One is better off watching MeTV and catching reruns of the original show. This show is an embarrassment. This show feels more like a CSI/ cop drama. There are time during this show I'm thinking to myself, "where did MacGyver go. " since when did Mac play second fiddle to his partner? This show is nothing more than a bunch of kids running around unable to act.
The Big Bang Theory (2007)
so sad when this is considered the #1 comedy
How does this show keep getting renewed?? I'm not one to hate. I'm happy for anyone to get money, But their are only two characters in this show who are not completely annoying: Penny and Leonard, the times I've watched this show I feel bad for them having to put up with their "special" friends, and it was bad enough when it was just the four original nerds then they added the two female ones, wow, just what the show needed. I wonder if the people in this show actually like it? The day this show ends I'll be as happy as an AIDS patient with a cure.
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
Should and could have been so much better
This movie fell short of what I hope for, and to compare it to the Captian American civil war, Cap. Blew the x- men away. I'm not saying this movie is not worth seeing but it was missing something, by the time it was over I was ready to go, I was kind of bored with the movie as a whole; however, as far as the CGI effects it was off the charts. But even the effects of x-men in my opinion fell short of Batman vs. Superman. I know there will be some who disagree with me but as far as the younger class x-men movies this one is at the bottom of the list. The only two characters that made this movie stand out were Quicksilver and Magneto. All the others came off as weak and the story line seemed to be jumbled up. Yet, giving all that I still rate it around a 7.5.
1/2 the movie the original was!
Halloween, Nightmare on Elm St., Friday the 13th, when you are going to re-make a very successful and classic horror film don't change the name of the main character! Carol Anne, Carol Anne, where are you? Who is Madison? None of the characters come close to having the performances portrayed in the original. The anger and frustration of Craig T. Nelson, the tears and sadness of JoBeth Williams, the worry you felt from the older sister and brother, and creepiness of Zelda Rubinstein. I did not feel the chemistry among this new cast and I did not feel the pain and agony a family would feel had their child really been taken/kidnap by poltergeist. However, not to say this movie did not have its spooky moments, but I feel it relied more on CGI and less on character development and its ability to bring more to the plot while at the same time staying on the same path of the original: For example Rob Zombie's Halloween. He gave us a back story and a new version of Laurie while still keeping the same elements. Overall for a movie that had three times the budget of the original, it was WEAK!
