Trivia

The Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) successfully defended the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas (Tag Team Titles) against the Osirian Portal (Amasis (Desean Pratt) and Ophidian) in the main event. After the match, the two masked "BDK" members made their way to the ring, with the larger one pushing down the guardrail. They entered the ring and the regular-sized one put a microphone under his mask and talked about how he had said that a war is coming and that he was tired of waiting. Various CHIKARA wrestlers made their way out to see what was happening, with Mike Quackenbush (Mike Spillane) and Claudio Castagnoli confronting the two men in the ring. The regular-sized man pointed to the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black, Delirious and Vökoder), saying, "Send me the man with the real power." The Order walked to the ring, with Mantis giving Vökoder the Eye of Tyr. Mantis told the two men, "I'm sick of all your video threats. I'm sick of you interfering in my business, and quite frankly I'm sick of you. In fact, I don't even know who you are." The larger man removed his mask to reveal another, horned mask underneath. His name would later be revealed to be Tursas. Then the regular-sized man unmasked, causing Mantis' two years of machinations to completely blow up in his face. The regular-sized man would be revealed to be Ares (Marco Jaggi), Claudio's old Swiss Money Holding tag team partner who had last been in CHIKARA in 2006. Quack looked at Claudio, who gave him an uppercut. Carpenter Ant attacked the Colony, Vökoder attacked UltraMantis Black, Sara Del Rey (Sara Amato) and Daizee Haze made their way out and just attacked whoever was available, and all seven heels cleaned house. Then they all stood shoulder to shoulder and Ares first instructed Carpenter Ant to unmask, revealing Pinkie Sanchez (Adam Ortega). Then Vökoder unmasked, revealing Tim Donst, who had appeared earlier in the show as himself. They all did a sign of the cross, with Claudio yelling, "Bruderschaft!" Then Tursas took out a remote control and turned out the lights, and they walked out of the arena. This was the debut of Die Bruderschaft des Kreuzes. The name means "Brotherhood of the Crosses," although there was nothing religious about the group. See more »
