Golden Globes 2018 Predictions: 10 Nominations We Want to See
When it comes to predicting Emmy or Oscar nominations, there is a method to the madness.

But the Golden Globe nominations -- split into a bajillion categories and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's love of all things new and/or A-list -- it is just madness. Which means, until the 2018 Golden Globe noms are announced on Monday at 5:00a.m. Pt, this could be anybody's year.

Here are 10 movie and TV nominations we would love to see...

Movies

1. Wonder Woman: Warner Bros. may have launched an awards season campaign with their eye on the Oscars, but...C'mon. We all loved Wonder Woman, but no one really thinks it will be nominated for Best Picture, right? The Globes seem much more attainable. Yet even with the comedy and drama categories split, Wonder Woman still feels like a longshot for Best Motion Picture, Drama, as does Patty Jenkins for Best Director. But perhaps [link=nm

TV Review – The Sinner

Liam Hoofe reviews The Sinner

American audiences will already be very acquainted with The Sinner. The show, adapted from the novel of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr, was a ratings success on the USA Network, and as a result has been streamed internationally by Netflix, with the full season hitting our shores last week. And, having binged watched the whole show in a little over 24 hours, it’s easy to see why.

The Sinner is not your conventional murder mystery. It strays away from the conventional whodunnit? narrative, instead, asking, why do it? The show had me hooked from the first episode, and chances are if you don’t engage with that opening 35 minutes, then there is no point in watching the rest.

The set up is simple, yet effective. Cora Tannetti is a married mother with one son. One day, at the beach, she is aggravated by a

An elegant or understated ensemble can be toned down or dressed up with the right amount of bling, a staple shoe or the perfect shade of lipstick. Or maybe, as was the case with Lisa Bonet, a stunning date like her new hubby, Jason Momoa, can make for some great arm candy. This week, accessories were among the staple pieces that added a fashion-forward punch to celebrities' outfits.

These stars -- and their handy stylists -- made all the correct choices and slayed the fashion game for the week of Nov. 12.

Et has all the details on Hollywood's best dressed -- and where you can get their looks!

‘The Sinner’: The 13 Craziest and Depraved Differences Between the Book and USA’s Disturbing Series

‘The Sinner’: The 13 Craziest and Depraved Differences Between the Book and USA’s Disturbing Series
[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from the finale of USA Network’s “The Sinner” in addition to the book on which it was based.]

USA Network’s “The Sinner” became one of the surprise hits of the summer for its fascinating look at how hidden and unresolved traumas can manifest in disturbing or downright horrifying ways. The psychologically twisted story delved deeply into the past of a woman who seemed relatively normal and happy, but whose abuse at the hands of multiple people eventually led to her murdering a man without apparent provocation.

German crime author Petra Hammesfahr penned the 1999 novel on which “The Sinner” is based, and for the most part the central mysteries remained the same in both versions. The television adaptation naturally also had the expected number of cosmetic changes: Cora Bender is now Cora Tannetti, a song played on a cassette tape now plays on a phone, and the setting has moved from Germany to a small city in New York.

‘The Sinner’ Finale: Creator on the Masked Captor’s Identity and What Season 2 Could Look Like

‘The Sinner’ Finale: Creator on the Masked Captor’s Identity and What Season 2 Could Look Like
[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from the season finale of “The Sinner.”]

I know you did it for your son,” Cora Tannetti (Jessica Biel) tells the man who had imprisoned her for two months, during which he shot her up with heroin and obliterated her true memories. It’s a curiously generous statement for her to make, but it’s not the first time that “The Sinner” has found sympathy and common ground for people’s failings.

USA Network’s summer psychological thriller began with Cora stabbing Frankie Belmont (Eric Todd) to death seemingly without provocation during a day at the beach. It turns out that five years ago at a party, Frankie had tried and failed to revive Cora’s sickly sister Phoebe (Nadia Alexander) with whom he had been intimate. A song that was playing at the time of the tragic accident was the same song that triggered Cora to attack Frankie during that day at the beach.

Jessica Biel on ‘The Sinner’s’ Surprise Success and Season 2 Plans
USA Network’s “The Sinner,” the small-screen adaptation of Petra Hammesfahr’s novel, has become the surprise hit of the summer. The drama has dominated ratings since its debut, taking the No. 1 slot in Live+7 numbers.

Even executive producer and series star Jessica Biel has been taken aback by just how strong a reception the show has seen. “Generally it never occurred to me that we’d have such great ratings,” Biel admits to Variety.

Biel thinks the show’s combination of high-caliber creative team and unique subject matter is what has led to the success. “It felt like something we’d never seen before,” Biel says. “The characters were an absolute dream for a creative and challenging experiment, and with a woman at the front of it all – and kind of an unlikable woman – it seemed like a good challenge and it seemed like something new.”

The Sinner” was designed to be an eight-episode story that
