The Voice: Season 13 Ratings (Mondays)

Although the demo numbers for This Is Us beat out the Monday episodes of The Voice, last fall, the latter still drew more total viewers than any other NBC show in the 2016-17 television season. Will the series be able to reach those high notes again, in season 13? Either way, The Voice shouldn't be cancelled too soon. Back in May, The Peacock Network renewed it for a 14th season, which should premiere in spring. Still, tracking these ratings helps us gauge the success of other NBC series, so stay tuned.Hosted by Carson Daly, The Voice singing competition typically airs twice weekly on NBC -- on Monday and Tuesday nights. Returning coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Miley Cyrus will be joined by new coach Jennifer Hudson. As the NBC drama approaches its winter break, Jaz is out of contact with her team. Her life is in extreme danger.

So… are we terrible if we’re very interested to see not only what becomes of the stalwart sergeant, but also how one Cmdr. Adam Dalton handles Jaz’s newfound peril?

Does Eko’s interactive comedy That Moment When represent the future of television?

Alex Moreland on the interactive comedy That Moment When…

Ever since watching television on the internet became mainstream, there’s been a question of just how far you can push the format. Not so long ago I spoke to the minds behind Otis, a crime thriller where audiences can switch perspectives as the drama unfolds; meanwhile, Netflix is currently in the process of adapting a series of Choose Your Own Adventure novels for television, preserving the same central conceit.

Both, however, have been beaten to the punch by Eko, with their new interactive comedy That Moment When. Centred around a series of awkward moments – the first episode is about that moment when someone recognises you but you can’t remember who they are, the second being dumped in public – the viewer (or perhaps more accurately, the participant) navigates each scenario, to varying degrees of success.

It works pretty much exactly

A Real-Life Pharmacist Noticed Something Crazy on This Week's This Is Us

  • BuzzSugar
Kevin Pearson, what are you doing to us?! This Is Us fans painfully watched the first of the Big Three unravel into a life of addiction and substance abuse during this week's episode, "Number One." As someone who would leave my future husband for Justin Hartley with his character's captivating smile and charming ways, this was truly difficult to watch. We got our first look at Kevin's career-ending knee injury during his senior year of high school juxtaposed with present-day Kevin battling the demons of addiction. It's ironic to watch Kevin snark at his father reciting the AA serenity prayer in their family kitchen, having no idea that years later, he too would fall to his knees and cry for help. Well, what brought about that cry for help is just . . . a lot. After going back to his high school to give a less-than-flattering speech as an honored alumni, he

This is Us Fans: Let’s Delve into the Craziest Guesses on How Jack Dies

Forget that he talks out of the side of his mouth and never seems to age. What’s really bugging us about Jack, the Pearson family patriarch, is that we’ve known since Season 1, Episode 5 that he’s dead. It’s been a hot minute since last October, so let’s recap that scene. Toby really wants Kate to watch the Steelers game with him even though she’s totally not into the idea. He pressures her (in that devastatingly kind and sincere Toby way) until she caves, then ends up bringing a friend along. They proceed to chat and eat super loudly over

Why 'This Is Us' Star Jon Huertas Is Making It His Personal Mission to End Homelessness (Exclusive)

Why 'This Is Us' Star Jon Huertas Is Making It His Personal Mission to End Homelessness (Exclusive)
This Is Us star Jon Huertas is making it his mission to end homelessness.

The actor, who plays Miguel on NBC’s hit sophomore drama, has been a passionate supporter of the cause, due in part to his own personal experience. Though Huertas has been a successful working actor for the past two decades, he pointed to a trying time in his past when he found himself living without a roof over his head.

“I, at one point, for about two weeks, was in my truck with two dogs and all my stuff in the back of my pickup truck covered in a tarp. I didn’t have a roof and I didn’t know how soon I was going to get one and all it took was me reaching out to people I know who care to get me into a different situation. That’s kind of what we have to do as a society, as a community

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ vs. ‘Young Sheldon’ vs. NFL Football: Everyone’s A Winner in Thursday Night Smackdown — Ratings Watch

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ vs. ‘Young Sheldon’ vs. NFL Football: Everyone’s A Winner in Thursday Night Smackdown — Ratings Watch
It turns out there’s enough to go around ratings-wise on Thursday night. NBC has taken hold of the Thursday Night Football package, which it shares with CBS (both of whom simulcast with NFL Network), and its fortunes on the night have grown substantially. Now with two nights of NFL, plus staples like “This Is Us” and “The Voice,” NBC easily won the week ending November 12 in adults 18-49, and scored its first total viewers victory of the season.

But on Thursday nights, ABC and CBS also have reason to crow in the 8 p.m. hour: “Grey’s Anatomy,” which just hit its 300th episode, remains a potent force. And “Young Sheldon” is developing into a new hit behind “The Big Bang Theory.” (Also in the hour, Fox’s “Gotham” and The CW’s “Supernatural” also perform relatively respectably, although not nearly at the same level).

Later on Thursday, ABC

Blindspot Ep Sheds Light on That Jane Shocker: 'It's a Huge Part' of Season 3

Blindspot Ep Sheds Light on That Jane Shocker: 'It's a Huge Part' of Season 3
Warning: This post contains spoilers from Friday’s episode of Blindspot.

Jane Doe has been called a lot of names during Blindspot‘s 48-episode run: Alice Kruger. Remi. Mrs. Kurt Weller.

And now, after Friday’s installment of the NBC drama, she can add a new moniker to that list: Mom.

In the newest Case of the Week — which sent the FBI on a hunt for a serial bomber, who had resurfaced many years after he was believed to have committed suicide — Jane crossed paths with a man named Rossi, who clearly had a long history with Jane that she simply couldn’t remember.

Was The Flash's Wells Gag Wasted? Is Suits Ok Without Mike/Rachel? Did Trek Telegraph Twist? And More TV Qs
We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Star Trek: Discovery, The Flash, Empire and The Blacklist!

1 | As emotional as Once Upon a Time‘s “Regina awakening” scenes were, did the show not really give us that “moment” of her laying familiar eyes on grown Henry?

2 | Were you pleased to hear that Hawaii Five-0‘s Steve is apparently still dating Lynn? Or do you wonder where he and Danny find the time to maintain their respective romances, given their Five-0 jobs,
