During the early days of World War II, the fate of Western Europe hangs on the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who must decide whether to negotiate with Hitler, or fight on against incredible odds.

Christian Bale has honed his skill for dealing with hostiles
The irony of admitting what was done by who to whom is that it is still happening all the time. There is room enough for apologies in the present and future so the haunted look Christian Bale has mastered for all the indignities and horror we seem to pass around like popcorn at the drive- in will be old and worn by the time any of this means more than just another sad reminder that no one can really get along now can they. I find myself wondering as I watch one of these roamers why we don't run into a wagon train or town from another production left behind, not having made enough to afford to even tear down the props. It would be refreshing to shed some tears for all of us from then but I've given my share to CNN this morning. Still the pipeline is moving through, the ancient sites are to be fracked and we all get to breath the results of our labor. Who were the HOSTILES again?
