America, stop glamourizing your bloodshed!
16 September 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In short all that is wrong with this film:

  • Editing. The editor was obviously in a rush and missed shots with
visible hair bands that did not exist in the time period the film was set in. Also there was a Hugo Boss bag where you could clearly see a logo and the copyright sign. Rosamunde Pike's wig started to dissolve at one point. These are minor details that get you out of the film which could have been fixed.

  • Criminally underusing Timothée Chalamet's talent. If you have a gem
like him in your film, don't abuse it and insult him by making him essentially a speaking extra.

  • America, we know you love yourself but you need to seriously
reconsider how you are portraying your country's history in the media. Stop masturbating over your mirror image. What you did was wrong. Coming to a country and slaughtering rightful owners is wrong. Plain and simple. Don't make us sympathize with Christian Bale's character who proudly lost count of how many Native American's he killed.
