Far fetched and ludicrous
15 September 2017 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

If it wasn't bad enough that Tim Roth scrapped the bottom of the barrel, whoring himself out as Sepp Blatter and Prince Rainier......he now gives us an acting class in somnambulism, as he sleepwalks through 10 episodes of the most grindingly turgid and preposterous drama that it has been my misfortune to view. They could have condensed this numbingly slow script down to a 90 minute TV movie and saved us all an awful lot of time. How this ever got the greenlight astounds me. I should take up scriptwriting if this is the what TV executives regard as quality drama. because if I couldn't come up with a script better than this I would chew my own toes off......the plot has holes big enough to drive a fleet of lorries through, and some of the acting is of soap opera standard. I could go on, but lifes too short, and the news that there is a second series in the offing, fills me with despair. Please avoid, unless your a masochist?
