Orlando Shelter Sorts Hard to Adopt Dogs into Harry Potter  Houses at 'Pawgwarts'
An Orlando pet shelter is betting on a bit of magic to help boost adoption rates for its toughest customers – i.e. bully breeds, including pit bulls. Much like students who don the sorting hat and await assignment into the proper Hogwarts house in the enduringly popular Harry Potter franchise (which turned 20 this year), Pet Alliance of Orlando is sorting dogs into four sections of its “Pawgwarts” kennels, based upon their personalities, abilities and interests rather than their breeds. It’s working like a charm.

“It’s a fun, lighthearted way to get people to start looking at ending breed discrimination,

A couple of names have popped up in regards to the role of Nightwing, but nobody has officially been brought forward and, as of earlier this month, Chris McKay says they haven't started the casting process yet. Stranger Things 3 Will Probably Have More Kali, But How?

The rumor mill has already started grinding away with how Kali will most likely appear in Stranger Things season 3. But how this will happen is still anyone’s guess. A lot of folks are talking about how Kali’s arc is a serious distraction from the rest of the show and that it was kind of pointless to send Eleven off on a trip to find out about her past when she was so desperately needed back in Hawkins. The problem with that line of thinking is that if not for Kali, Eleven would have been seriously hindered by the fact

Paul Feig Gets Candid About What Went Wrong With The Ghostbusters Reboot

The post-mortem examination of Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot continues today, only this time, it’s Feig who has weighed in with the latest take.

One year after its theatrical release, Vulture gave the filmmaker a call to discuss his gender-swapping actioner, which had Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones suit up as those four famous ‘Busters: Zeddemore, Venkman, Stantz, and Spengler.

But for all of its lofty ambitions, Ghostbusters proved to be one of the more high-profile flops of 2016, and wound up costing Sony upwards of $70 million when accounting for marketing and distribution. Plus, as Dan Aykroyd so rightly says, the film wasn’t exactly cheap to make, what with all that lavish CGI.

For Feig, though, Ghostbusters will forever haunt him as “a great regret in [his] life,” after the movie unknowingly morphed into a “cause.”

I think it kind of hampered us a little

Stranger Things Season 2 Episodes Reimagined As Vintage Paperback Horror Book Covers

How many people would have gladly read Stranger Things if it had come out in the stores as vintage paperback horror novels? Does anyone recall when Stephen King did this same thing with The Green Mile? People didn’t know what to think at first when one small book came out, then the next, and the next after that. For dedicated fans it was a mad scramble to get to the store and purchase each new book as it came out. Back then, as I recall, eBooks hadn’t really taken off yet and paperbacks and hardbacks were still the preferred medium

How Do Film Critics Decide Which Films Are Worth Covering in the Age of Netflix? — IndieWire Critics Survey
Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of film critics two questions and publishes the results on Monday. (The answer to the second, “What is the best film in theaters right now?”, can be found at the end of this post.)

This week’s question:

Dee Rees’ “Mudbound” is now streaming on Netflix (in addition to playing in a few theaters), and the Oscar-tipped Sundance favorite is as high-profile a film as the streaming giant has ever premiered. It’s another landmark moment in the ongoing shift towards novel distribution patterns — once upon a time it was easy enough to divide things into theatrical releases and films that went straight-to-video, but now there are at least 50 shades of gray.

Who From Stranger Things Will Have the Best Career when the Show Ends?

Netflix has struck viewer gold with fan favorite series, Stranger Things. It’s now enjoying it’s second season as well as it’s own after show. With all the hype around the nostalgic show, it’s got us wondering, who is going to have the biggest career when all of this is over? Winona Ryder obviously had quite the career before Stranger Things ever came along (Girl Interrupted, Black Swan, Edward Scissorhands to name a few), but she has fully revived her status as a leading lady with the role as Joyce Beyers. She even has a new movie coming up (in post-production),

Could This Power Rangers Star Play The New Wolverine?

If you’ve seen Stranger Things, which, let’s face it, you likely have, you’ve probably had the thought: “Hey, this is a bit like X-Men.” Apparently, that’s something which digital artist/uberfan Boss Logic seems to have thought of as well, as he’s now taken the similarity and run with it, creating a bunch of images that reimagine the cast of Netflix’s hit sci-fi show as Marvel heroes.

Last week, he began with the obvious mash-up of Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven and Jean Grey Aka Phoenix, two hugely powerful telepaths. Other efforts are slightly more out there, but no less fun. In the gallery down below you’ll see, Mike (Finn Wolfhard) as Cyclops, Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) as Beast, Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) as Cable, Bob (Sean Astin) as Colossus, Joyce (Winona Ryder) as Mystique, Max (Sadie Sink) as Emma Frost, Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) as
