After what feels like eons of waiting, the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War finally debuted the other week – and it was just as epic and thrilling as we had hoped for! Packed full of Avengers, action, an ominous tone and lots of intriguing teases for what the movie holds, it didn’t drop too much all at once, as it saved quite a lot for future trailers and the actual film itself. For instance, the union of all of the heroes.

That’s right. While we did get to see a lot of our favorites, there were a good chunk of characters missing from the preview, both heroes and villains. Even some of the major players were left out and you have to wonder why. Maybe there are surprises in store for certain individuals that Marvel doesn’t want to spoil yet? Or perhaps the studio just didn’t

Gwyneth Paltrow Seemingly Posts Avengers 4 Story Clue Via Instagram

Just when you thought Gwyneth Paltrow and the Marvel Cinematic Universe had gone their separate ways, the Pepper Potts actress swings by for a brief cameo in Spider-Man: Homecoming – and just in time for a possible engagement to Tony Stark, no less.

It seems Paltrow’s surprise appearance wasn’t just a flash in the pan, either; instead, it looks as though Marvel is rustling up a pretty big arc for Pepper Potts. At least, that’s based on a recent Instagram story from Gwyneth Paltrow herself (via ComicBook.com), who shared two photos in between takes on Avengers 4: a selfie that came tethered with the caption, “waiting to go on set #pepperpotts,” along with a photo of what we assume to be the on-set doctor. But it’s the motion-capture gear that really has people talking.

Embedded below, you’ll see that Paltrow is suited up and ready for a CG-enhanced performance,

Keaton Jones' Mom Explains 'Ironic' Confederate Flag Photos Amid Claims She's Racist

The mother of bullied Tennessee student Keaton Jones, Kimberly Jones, is responding to the backlash she's received after Facebook posts showed the family posing with a Confederate flag.

Celebrites such as Chris Evans and Justin Bieber rallied around 11-year-old Keaton over the weekend, when a heartbreaking video Kimberly shared on social media showed her son in tears over students at school bullying him. However, the family was scrutinized shortly after thanks to the controversial photos, with some slamming Kimberly as racist. In an interview with CBS News, Kimberly discussed the backlash.

"The only two photos -- the only two photos on my entire planet that I am anywhere near a Confederate flag. It was ironic. It was funny," Jones said.

Kimberly adamently denied the photos were posted with racist intent.

"No. No. Absolutely not," she stressed. "I've said I spent most of my life being bullied and judged because I wasn't racist."

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Rockets to Dominant Social Media Buzz

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Rockets to Dominant Social Media Buzz
Disney-Luscasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” dominated social media buzz last week in the wake of the Dec. 9 world premiere and announcing its dedication to the late Carrie Fisher, according to media-measurement firm comScore and its PreAct service.

“The Last Jedi,” which opens Dec. 15, generated 368,000 new conversations last week to bring its total to 4.75 million. Tracking has shown the tentpole’s opening weekend could be in the $200 million range at the domestic box office — which would be the fourth-largest of all time after “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Jurassic World” and “The Avengers.”

Directed by Rian Johnson, the movie picks up where 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” left off. It stars returning cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Andy Serkis. The new cast members include Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and Benicio del Toro. It’s the final film role for Fisher, who died last

There’s A Good Reason Why Nebula Didn’t Feature In The Infinity War Teaser, According To Karen Gillan

Despite its best efforts, the two-and-a-half-minute teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War wasn’t able to spotlight all the characters in Joe and Anthony Russo’s super-sized sequel. And that’s okay – lest Marvel spoil its biggest movie five months ahead of schedule.

But because a number of prominent faces (see: Nebula, Hawkeye) got the cold shoulder, fans have been busy drawing up weird and wonderful theories to explain the whereabouts of Infinity War‘s tertiary cast members. And though she doesn’t explicitly address Nebula’s arc in the 2018 blockbuster, Scottish actress and former Doctor Who star Karen Gillan assured viewers that Nebula’s absence “makes sense” when all is said and done. Not only that, but the soon-to-be Jumanji star is fairly confident that her blue-skinned anti-hero will crop up in future trailers.

I wasn’t really disappointed because also it sort of makes sense. It makes sense!

Karen Gillan Wants To Return To Doctor Who Alongside Matt Smith

Karen Gillan’s post-Doctor Who career might be going from strength to strength – for starters, she’s set to star in one of the biggest blockbusters of all-time, Avengers: Infinity War, next year – but she’s still got an eye on returning to the Tardis some day.

While talking with Radio Times ahead of the release of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in the UK, Gillan got chatting once again on how ecstatic she is that Jodie Whittaker has been cast as the Thirteenth Doctor, praising both the actress herself and the decision to gender swap the Time Lord.

I’m more excited than ever! I think that was the best, most perfect choice. She’s an amazing actress. I can’t wait to see what she does with the role, and I’m just so happy that they’ve cast a female, because there have been so many sceptical people for so long.

Will Wolverine Ever Cross Over Into The McU? Hugh Jackman Shares His Thoughts

Day by day, we’re beginning to form a clearer understanding of the potential Disney/Fox merger and, crucially, what it’ll mean for the McU going forward.

Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige is reportedly keen to gain access to the X-Men and “cross-pollinate” its character roster with that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which has fueled rumors that Disney‘s pursuit of 21st Century Fox will leave the door open for Hugh Jackman to don the adamantium claws once again.

It’s a crossover that has been rumored for the best part of 20 years, and one that gained a tremendous boost after Marvel and Sony decided to incorporate Spider-Man into the McU. But if Disney closes its landmark deal and assumes control of Fox’s entertainment assets, a Wolverine cameo in the Marvel franchise isn’t necessarily out of the question – it’ll merely involve an actor other than Hugh Jackman.

Charlie Cox Has Never Been Approached To Play Daredevil In A Marvel Movie

Avengers: Infinity War is set to unite every hero on the movie side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe next May, but for some fans it’s just not enough. Ever since the House of Ideas started building its Defenders corner of the McU on Netflix, people have been calling for the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage to team up with the Avengers on the big screen.

Unfortunately, we’ve routinely heard – from those involved on both sides – that this is very unlikely to happen. The latest word on a potential crossover only supports this, too, as Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox attended Ace Comic-Con Long Island this weekend where he was naturally asked about playing the Man Without Fear in a movie. As expected, he stated that there are no plans for this to happen and not only that, but he hasn’t even ever had a conversation about it.

According to the report, filming on the Marvel and Sony co-production will get underway in Atlanta in June, and run through to October-December. The movie will reteam Watts with screenwriters Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, who worked on the script for the first movie.

Meanwhile, it seems that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker may be getting a new love interest in the as-yet-untitled movie, as the site has also shared an audition tape featuring unknown French actress Louna Fournier reading for the part of Gwen Stacy.

The report goes on to speculate that Gwen could be a foreign exchange student attending Peter Parker’s school. That being said,

Sebastian Stan Says Avengers 4 Is An Insane Juggernaut Of A Film

From Captain America’s rumored transition (Nomad, perhaps?) to Hawkeye’s newfound identity, the story rumors for Infinity War and Avengers 4 have been coming in thick and fast.

That largely comes down to the fact that Joe and Anthony Russo chose to shoot both ensemble movies back-to-back, resulting in a bottleneck of photos and leaked set pics. And though we still don’t know very much about either of the aforementioned films, it’s fair to say that both McU tentpoles are among the most-anticipated movies on the Hollywood calendar.

And for good reason, it seems, as according to Sebastian Stan, Avengers 4 is going to be an “insane juggernaut.” While chatting with Collider in a recent interview to promote his new movie I, Tonya, here’s what the actor had to say about the upcoming Phase 3 closer.

It’s chaotic, but it’s great. That’s another insane juggernaut. It’s a war.

Marvel’s Kevin Feige compares Chris Evans’ Captain America to Christopher Reeve’s Superman

It’s fair to say that a few eyebrows were raised when Marvel first announced that the former Human Torch Chris Evans would be taking on the role of Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Evans has since won over any critics with his superb performances in the Captain America and Avengers films, and Marvel StudiosKevin Feige has been singing the actor’s praises in an interview with Vanity Fair, where he compared him to Christopher Reeve’s Man of Steel.

“Casting Captain America was super hard,” said Feige. “I started to think, ‘Are we not going to be able to find Captain America, and if we can’t, what are we going to do with Avengers? Is the whole thing going to fall apart?’ And, then, finally opening ourselves up to Chris Evans, who we had initially sort of just looked

Avengers 5 To Be Set In Outer Space?

Even though we still have 5 more movies left of Phase Three – including Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel – fans are already eager to find out what the next stage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will consist of. With the ongoing plotline of the threat of Thanos set to be wrapped up soon, there were fears that the franchise might be ending. However, it’s recently become apparent that that’s absolutely not the case. Far from it, in fact, as there’s a lot of life left in the McU yet.

Granted, we don’t know too much about what Kevin Feige and co. have planned for us beyond Avengers 4 at the moment, but it’s no secret that Marvel is looking to expand the cosmic side of their universe and start exploring new worlds, with the plan being to leave Earth behind once Thanos is out of the way.
