Storyline

Some time after the Civil War, a stagecoach hurtles through the wintry Wyoming landscape. Bounty hunter John Ruth and his fugitive captive Daisy Domergue race towards the town of Red Rock, where Ruth will bring Daisy to justice. Along the road, they encounter Major Marquis Warren (an infamous bounty hunter) and Chris Mannix (a man who claims to be Red Rock's new sheriff). Lost in a blizzard, the bunch seeks refuge at Minnie's Haberdashery. When they arrive they are greeted by unfamiliar faces: Bob, who claims to be taking care of the place while Minnie is gone; Oswaldo Mobray, the hangman of Red Rock; Joe Gage, a cow puncher; and confederate general Sanford Smithers. As the storm overtakes the mountainside, the eight travelers come to learn that they might not make it to Red Rock after all... Written by Jordan Crighton

Goofs

When Major Marquis Warren is telling everybody else except Daisy Domergue to go next to the wall on the left side of the fireplace. Bob is seen standing next to the fireplace with his right hand resting the fireplace spade on his shoulder, but when the camera changes to show the view behind Warren, his right hand with the spade is hanging on his side when he had no time to move at all between the camera change. Warren tells Bob to join the others and he drops the spade and it lands on the right side of the fireplace. The spade changes from laying on the ground to leaning on the right side of the fireplace several times in later camera angle changes. See more »

Terrible!!!!!!!
21 December 2015 | by See all my reviews

By all means, I should love this film. The premise is right up my street, I love Tarantino and love the actors involved.

BUT, I only made it to 30 minutes in. The characters are so dislikable, the script is unbelievably dull and it's insanely boring. I just didn't care what happened next, not that anything was happening. My wife felt the same.

I just can't quite imagine what's gone on here?! How can all these great people come together to make something so terrible?

The overuse of the N word was done well in other Tarantino films, but in this one it's just gratuitous without any humour at all.

Please don't waste your time.
