Goofs

When Steve McGarrett Alex O'Loughlin and Danny Williams Scott Caan are racing to catch the Chinese cargo ship, they are shown driving a late model Ford Crown Victoria, with the passenger cabin squared-off at the rear and the rear doors having a two-part window, with an integrated sidelight (1998 or later), but when the car is shown making the run on the straightaway and up the ramp onto the ship, it is a previous generation Crown Vic (1992-1997), with the rounded rear of the passenger cabin, and the sidelights behind and separate from the rear door windows. Then, once the car is on the deck of the ship, it reverts to the later model Crown Vic. See more »

An Action-Packed Start
30 August 2017 | by See all my reviews

From the day his father was killed, you could see the motivation in Steve McGarrett's eyes. The interactions between characters in this pilot episode truly creates an opportunity for continuous character development throughout the show, and the action and mystery scenes, although sometimes a bit cheesy, help the whole thing along. Overall, this episode was a good start for the show.
