Affleck Responds to McGowan, Weinstein and Harassment Joke Backlash
Ben Affleck is out promoting Justice League, but it seems that all of the interviews start with the Harvey Weinstein allegations before getting into talking about the new movie. Affleck worked closely with Weinstein at the very beginning of his career and went on to have great success, but claims that he did not know of the full extent of these allegations until recently, after the New Yorker and New York Times launched back-to-back stories of women coming forward and sharing the experiences of sexual assault and harassment at the hands of Harvey Weinstein. One of the loudest voices to come forward has been actress Rose McGowan, who claims that Weinstein raped her and that Ben Affleck knew about it.

While appearing on the Today Show, Ben Affleck answered questions and shared that his once good memories have been tainted by Harvey Weinstein's despicable actions. The actor said that

David Crow Nov 16, 2017

Gal Gadot clarifies Brett Ratner's departure from Wonder Woman 2...

Gal Gadot is certainly having her moment in the zeitgeist and culture at large. Starring in the biggest movie at the Us box office of the summer, Wonder Woman, the actor who would be Diana Prince became an instant role model. And she is carrying on as the strongest aspect of this weekend’s anticipated Justice League.

So when rumours started up this weekend that Gadot was considering walking away from Wonder Woman 2 unless Brett Ratner is bought out by Warner Bros from the production, the internet took notice. And applauded.

Indeed, there is something very Wonder Woman-esque about fighting the good fight for feminist ideals, which should include not having a man with numerous allegations of sexual misconduct as a co-financer of said feminist-influenced film. However, while appearing on The Today Show with Savannah Guthrie,

In the end, it seems that the entire cast and crew of Wonder Woman 2 felt the same way that she did. Patty Jenkins has even come forward saying

Diane Lane “Totally Impressed” With Justice League’s Final Cut, Promises Lots Of Surprises

Six months ago, Diane Lane made the headlines after she implied that Justice League would fall short of The Avengers – to her credit, the Martha Kent actress later issued a statement to clear the air, and chalked it up to a simple misunderstanding.

Fast forward to now, and with Justice League casting a big, DC-shaped shadow over theaters, Lane has given her verdict of Warner’s final cut – a final cut that was allegedly squeezed into a two-hour timeframe in accordance with Warner’s mandate.

During her recent appearance on The Today Show (via Screen Rant) Diane Lane addressed Justice League‘s long-anticipated release, which is arguably 2017’s last remaining blockbuster – save for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, of course. The actress then took the opportunity to reveal how she was “totally impressed” by the film, and that the end product will seemingly come packing “lots of surprises.”

Griffin Dunne on Convincing Joan Didion to Make a Netflix Documentary
Joan Didion has been at the center of our cultural and political life for more than five decades, writing incisively on everything from war to rock music to murder in books such as “Slouching Towards Bethlehem” “The White Album,” and “Salvador.” As an essayist, novelist, critic, and screenwriter, she’s inspired a passionate following that is nearly unmatched in American letters. That status reached near deification levels with 2005’s “The Year of Magical Thinking.” In it, she reflects on her own personal tragedy, recounting her grief after the death of her husband John Gregory Dunne and her struggle to deal with the fatal illness of her daughter, Quintana Roo. By writing so unflinchingly about such a painful topic, she formed an even deeper connection with her readers.

It took her nephew, the filmmaker Griffin Dunne, to convince Didion to do what she had long resisted — sit down and shareher personal and professional remembrances on camera. The fruits

Anne Hathaway Celebrates 'Princess Diaries' 16th Birthday Amid Talk of a Third Film

Anne Hathaway Celebrates 'Princess Diaries' 16th Birthday Amid Talk of a Third Film
Happy Birthday, Princess Mia Thermopolis of Genovia!

On Thursday, Anne Hathaway shared a clip from The Princess Diaries on her Instagram to celebrate the movie's 16th anniversary. In her post, she wrote, "Happy Birthday Princess (Thanks Garry) #sweetsixteen #mia4evah."

The 2001 movie -- which helped launch Hathaway's Hollywood career -- became an instant classic, spawning one sequel, The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement, and endless talk of a third.

Julie Andrews, who starred as Hathaway's grandmother, Queen Clarisse, in both films, added fuel to the idea earlier this year when she told The Today Show, "There's always been talk about it. It's a 'yes' if they ask me, only if it happens of course."

Diaries director and Hollywood legend Garry Marshall passed away in July of 2016, but had often discussed the possibility of a third film, according to his longtime friend (and Diaries franchise star) Hector Elizondo.

"[Anne] was talking to Garry about doing a Princess Diaries
