Check Out This “1987” Thor 3: Ragnorok Trailer

When you check out Thor: Ragnarok as a 1980’s trailer you have to laugh as you wonder if all 80’s trailers looked quite that cheesy. The backgrounds, the low budget lighting effects, and the obvious use of props seems to indicate that the 80’s were, in terms of fantasy films, a bit behind the times. But then again it was the 80’s. It is the decade that brought He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and Ghostbusters. The effects that we saw back in that time were state of the art in some cases and purposely cheesy just to drive

Season 13 of The Voice Gets A Worship Leader & A Drag Queen – Yes!

The 2017-18 TV season kicks off Monday. For music fans that means one thing: season 13 of The Voice begins!   What’s even better?  This is a great panel of coaches who are focused on one thing – making their team members into the best they can be! (The only hint of romance going on this season will be the bromance between veteran coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton – and that’s never been a distraction.) Aside from the fun of of Adam and Blake,  I’m really looking forward to the sophomore turns of  Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson.  As

‘Will & Grace’ Co-Creator on Trump: ‘I Would Rather Be a Son of a Bitch Than the Son of Someone Who Was Arrested at a Kkk Rally’

1 hour ago | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

A new healthcare bill is set to be voted on in the Senate next week and all of Puerto Rico is without power in the wake of Hurricane Maria, so of course Donald Trump is focusing on what really matters: professional athletes whose opinions make him angry. He referred to Colin Kaepernick as a “son of a bitch” who should “get off the field right now” for kneeling during the national anthem as an act of protest, prompting a pointed response from “Will & Grace” co-creator David Kohan during a Tribeca TV panel yesterday.

Rick And Morty Season 3’s Best Scenes Recreated In Fallout 4

I think it would take a seriously dedicated fan of Fallout 4 and Rick and Morty to really break down all of the scenes that are represented in this clip. I know of at least one since I’ve had to write on it before. But I’ll say this as I’ve said it in the recent past, I still don’t know how Rick and Morty is so popular but I’ll just leave it that it is. The pickle Rick scene is pretty obvious since it’s been so pervasive for so long with the show. It still stands out as one of

NFL to Air Ad Promoting Unity in Wake of Trump Attacks on Anthem Protests

3 hours ago | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

The NFL plans to air an ad promoting unity following President Donald Trump’s campaign to “fire or suspend” National Anthem protestors.

The one-minute ad, originally produced for the Super Bowl earlier this year, will run during NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” telecast.

“We think this is the single best response to demonstrate what we are about,” an NFL spokesman told CNN, which first reported the news.

“Inside these lines, we don’t have to come from the same place to help each other reach the same destination,” Forest Whitaker intones in the ad. “Inside these lines, we may have our differences, but recognize there’s more that unites us.”

This comes as a reaction to a feud that ignited over the weekend between Trump and the NFL. On Friday, Trump told a rally in Alabama, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to »

Björk’s Latest Music Video is Nothing Short of Mesmerizing

Mesmerizing is the right word without any doubt. Bjork is definitely unique when it comes to doing, well, anything. Her newest video, The Gate, is an exercise in odd that meets a whole lot of wonderful in terms of visuals. There’s really nothing in this video that’s boring and there is enough to look at that it keeps you wondering just what’s going to come next with each passing second. Bjork’s music is kind of an acquired taste since she really doesn’t fall within the realm of what a lot of people tend to think of as music, but it’s

NFL Players Kneel to Protest Anthem in First Game Since Trump Remarks

4 hours ago | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Updated: NFL players took a knee or locked arms on Sunday during the National Anthem in the first games President Donald Trump attacked players for engaging in such protests and the league itself for supporting them.

The first show of support for NFL players took place in London at Wembley Stadium, as the Baltimore Ravens faced Jacksonville Jaguars. Among those who participated in the protest was Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, who locked arms with tight end Mercedes Lewis and linebacker Telvin Smith.

The Pittsburgh Steelers boycotted the National Anthem, and head coach Mike Tomlin and some staffers were the only ones on the field as it was sung. All of the players stayed off the field. One player, Alejandro Villanueva and a military veteran who served three tours of duty in Afghanistan, stood near the entrance. They were facing off against the Chicago Bears, whose players locked arms during the National Anthem.
