Raven’s Home Review: Is This The Day That Raven And Booker Discover Each Other’s Secrets?

3 hours ago | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

One of my only gripes about Raven’s Home is the family secret that has been plaguing the family for months. Personally, I’ve never understood the need for Booker to keep his secret, if only because he is a child. Children do keep things from their parents, often until the last minute when they feel they need help. What was always more puzzling was that Raven felt the need to keep her secret from her children, or more accurately, that she will not consider telling her children in the future. The signs that Booker has inherited his mother’s gift are becoming

The Han Solo movie is still very much on despite the fact that Ron Howard had to come in and save it from a most terrible death when it’s original directors kind of bailed on the project, or were let go, or whatever. George Lucas was actually a brief consideration to take over but the rumor that he might say yes died out as quickly as the one that said that Danny DeVito would be in the film. So instead we’re going to get something Howard-inspired which, if history tells us anything, should be straight up awesome. Here are some

Turns Out ‘It’ Had A More Difficult (Aka Creepy) Alternate Ending

People are already anticipating the sequel to the hit remake of It, and the movie is still showing in theaters having just surpassed “The Exorcist” as the highest grossing horror movie of all-time. It isn’t an easy thing to achieve, especially since the first It movie was actually a great rendition of Stephen King’s novel as well. The novel itself is over 1,000 pages long, and as expected from movies, there were a lot of storylines from the book that didn’t make it into the movie. As far as the movie itself is concerned, there were also a few frames

Let’s face it, when you think of Pennywise your mind still goes back to Tim Curry. Even if Bill Skarsgard is that good, and he’s great, no doubt, he still had some big shoes to fill and a legacy to compete against. The desire to not compete against Curry is admirable. Skarsgard wanted to make it his own and he did. But regardless of this, those of us that saw It for the first time in 1990 are more likely, for now, to think of Tim Curry when we think of the movie at all. After all, Curry did make
