One little anecdote about the original script, on the other hand, has us thanking our lucky stars we got the Pearson family we know and love

October is right around the corner, which means it’s officially clown season. Yes, Halloween hype brings pumpkin spice, actual pumpkins, and healthy pumpkin seed recipes. But in addition to the frothy goodness and unassuming flavor, Pennywise’s loyal followers begin to crop up on every street corner in the U.S.

Christine Baskets (the Emmy-winning Louie Anderson) wants to set the record straight — clowns are people, too. And most importantly, not all of them are dead set on frightening every man, woman, and child on the subway for seemingly no reason.

It’s got to be one of the last stories you might ever expect to hear as a Christmas story but it stands to reason that since Die Hard was in fact set during the Christmas season it might as well be a yuletide tale. The one thing you wouldn’t want to do is read this to kids expecting them to think that Christmas is all about guns, bombs, explosions, and snappy one-liners that might not be permissible in polite company. But at least the story reads as it was filmed, not leaving too much out and getting some of the

Hillary Clinton Compares Herself to Cersei From ‘Game of Thrones’ in New Book

Hillary Clinton’s new memoir, “What Happened,” is drawing plenty of attention about one particular pop-culture reference.

In the book about the tumultuous election cycle, the former presidential candidate compares herself to a certain fictional queen of Westeros: not the generally beloved Daenerys Targaryen, but ruthless and power-hungry Cersei Lannister.

In the memoir, Clinton reflects upon her treatment at the hands of Trump supporters who often rallied behind Trump’s call to “lock her up” following the revelation that she used her private email servers while secretary of state.

“Crowds at Trump rallies called for my imprisonment more times than I can count,” she writes. “They shouted, ‘Guilty! Guilty!’ like the religious zealots in ‘Game of Thrones’ chanting ‘Shame! Shame!’ while Cersei Lannister walked back to the Red Keep.”
