Kim Cattrall Suggests Sex and the City 3 Should Recast Samantha Jones With a Black or Hispanic Actress — Watch

Kim Cattrall may be done playing Sex and the City‘s Samantha Jones — like, so done — but that doesn’t necessarily mean the character needs to stay dead and buried. (Dressed in something fabulous, no doubt).

In a new interview with Piers Morgan, Cattrall — who appeared in all 94 episodes of the HBO series (1998–2004), as well as its two follow-up films (2008 and 2010) — recalls her decision not to reprise the role for a third movie in Dec. 2016, saying that her answer was simply “Thank you, but no.”

As for the subsequent rumors that she was being “demanding or a diva,” Cattrall puts »

NCIS' Duane Henry Talks of Reeves' Secret Demons (Plus One Hairy Reveal)

NCIS viewers have yet to learn much about Clayton Reeves, the MI6 Officer who was introduced two season finales ago. But in this Tuesday’s episode (CBS, 8/7c), that is about to change.

Just don’t tell series regular Duane Henry that he has been keeping a “low profile.”

“It’s not so much that, but…. I’m more what you call a ‘secret weapon,'” the affable English actor corrects with a wink and a laugh. “Pull me out when need be, because you don’t want to overwhelm people with my presence.”

Ray Donovan Renewed for Season 6 — But a 'Big' Change Is In Store

Ray Donovan has been renewed — and, more importantly, relocated.

Showtime announced Monday that it is bringing the Liev Schreiber fixer drama back for a sixth season, but that’s only half the story. The more interesting news is that after five years in Los Angeles the series is shifting its setting to New York City.

The 12-episode, Big Apple-set season will begin production in early 2018 and debut later that year.

The renewal comes just days before Ray Donovan airs its Season 5 finale (Sunday, 9/8c), an episode that was partially shot in NYC. »

Stranger Things Review: Season 2 Doubles Down on Monsters, Adds Heart But Plays Risky Waiting Game

In the parlance of Mike Wheeler and friends, Stranger Things Season 2 is the Empire Strikes Back to the first season’s Star Wars, in that it’s a highly anticipated follow-up where the stakes are higher for a band of unlikely heroes. But also because just as Luke Skywalker spent much of that sequel on his own journey, so does Eleven here — which is perhaps the otherwise engaging sophomore season’s only shortcoming.

Madam Secretary‘s Elizabeth & Co. couldn’t avoid a governmental shutdown in Sunday’s episode, but that was hardly the toughest blow the hour offered up: By the end of the hour that Sec. McCord’s Chief of Staff Nadine Tolliver was ending her tenure at the State Department.

The Walking Dead Season 8 Premiere Recap: Harm Offensive

Warning: The following contains spoilers for the Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead. If you’ve yet to watch, pretend Negan’s about to take a swing and look away.

The Season 8 premiere (and 100th episode) of The Walking Dead was filled with inspiring fighting words about how the world belonged to Rick and our heroes, the allied forces were going to live in peace and harmony, they’d all be together forever, yadda, yadda, yadda. But the all-cried-out look in Rick’s red-rimmed eyes, seen in (I think) flash-forwards, served as a stark reminder that turning all that talk »

Outlander Reunion: Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan on Jamie and Claire's 'Naked, Vulnerable' Homecoming

Warning: This post contains big spoilers from Sunday’s Outlander. Proceed accordingly.

Send Geordie out for some ash and steady your alepots, Outlander fans: We need to talk about Sunday’s episode.

The season’s sixth installment chronicled Jamie and Claire Fraser’s reunion after decades (and the previous five episodes) apart. The bittersweet, sexy homecoming at Alexander Malcolm’s Edinburgh print shop has become emblematic of Diana Gabaldon’s book series — the exchange takes place in Voyager, the third Outlander novel — and therefore carries with it all of the expectations readers have stacked up since the book’s 1993 publication. »

Both on- and off-screen, this week’s episode of Outlander has a daunting charge: Bring to life the scene fans of Diana Gabaldon’s books have spent years waiting to see — Jamie and Claire’s reunion in Alexander Malcolm’s print shop — and do it perfectly.

The Frasers’ first hours together in decades have to be fraught, but not depressing. They have to be romantic, but not syrupy. And above all, they have to be sexy — Jamie and his Sassenach do, after all, spend a »
