American Gods Stars Preview Shadow and Laura's Fraught Reunion

American Gods‘ upcoming reunion of Shadow Moon and his very own corpse bride, Laura, is just about as romantic/troubling as you’d expect, Ricky Whittle tells TVLine.

“They finally meet and they finally have this conversation, and it’s one of my favorite moments of the first season,” the actor says of a scene in this Sunday’s episode (Starz, 9/8c). “It’s a beautiful moment where you have two lovers talking about a situation. You see the hurt and the history there. You understand where all his pain comes from — and you see it released — but you forget the most important thing. »

NBC's Live Bye Bye Birdie Musical Postponed Until 2018 — Find Out Why

NBC is saying farewell to Bye Bye Birdie — for the time being, at least.

The Peacock network announced on Thursday that its live, Jennifer Lopez-fronted production of the classic musical — which was slated to bow in December — has been pushed to 2018. Lopez’s busy schedule is apparently the culprit; the multi-hyphenate is already juggling her just-renewed drama Shades of Blue and her new summer reality show World of Dance (both on NBC), not to mention her Las Vegas residency.

Drag Race Sneak Peek: Can Peppermint Transform a Cameraman Into a Queen?

War may be hell, but as you’ll see in TVLine’s exclusive clip from Friday’s RuPaul’s Drag Race (VH1, 8/7c), it’s got nothing on walking in heels.

This week’s episode tasks the remaining six queens with making over members of the show’s crew, including a camera operator named Sarge, who has the great fortune of studying under Ms. Peppermint. Of course, given his natural sass and personality, I’m not so sure Sarge even needs coaching.

Supernatural's Mark Sheppard Speaks Out on Exit: 'There Are No Plans for Me to Return at Any Juncture'

Nashville: New Season 5 Trailer Plays Up Juliette's Big Fears, Finds Scarlett and Gunnar Facing Down a Gun (?!)

If Juliette’s career falters in the second half of Nashville‘s fifth season, perhaps she can make a living out of her favorite hobby: finding trouble where there is none.

As you’ll see in this new trailer for the upcoming episodes — which get underway on Thursday, June 1, at 9/8c — Ms. Barnes undergoes challenges both professional (a slight backstage panic attack) and personal (the likely completely made-up fear that Hallie and Avery are growing closer than they should be) while the rest of Music City deals with its own drama.

Law & Order: Svu‘s season ender on Wednesday added another tragic layer onto its stock-in-trade sexual violence by bringing illegal immigration — and New York’s status as a sanctuary city — into an already harrowing rape-and-murder investigation.

Empire Finale Recap: Was It an Unforgettable End to Season 3?

Roughly 15 minutes into Empire‘s Season 3 finale on Wednesday it’s revealed that Andre and Shyne are planning to murder Lucious not with a bullet but with a bomb. What’s more, the I.E.D. is slated to be detonated outside of an event space (in this case a casino) following a musical performance. The eerie and, of course, unintended parallel to this week’s horrific terror attack in Manchester was impossible to ignore, and it remained so as the episode built to the inevitable, explosive climax. Should Fox have pulled — or at the very least tweaked — the episode in light of recent events? »
